The latest argument by Turhan Kanli is the failure to find the genes associated with depression. The researcher suggests: perhaps the reason is that genetics are not searching where it should be. They are looking for internal changes in the genes that lead to depression.
Meanwhile, 8% of the human genome depends on external influences, including viruses. Bacteria, viruses and parasites can alter genes, as well as transmitted during childbirth or during contact between parents and children. The scientist insists on conducting large-scale research on this topic. If his theory is correct, then it is likely that in the future it will be possible to create a vaccine against depression.
