The use of four cups of coffee a day reduces the risk of developing mortally unstable endometrial cancer in women by 18%. Experts from the Imperial College of London came to this conclusion.
This type of tumor affects the cells of the inner mucous membrane of the uterus - endometrium. Among the symptoms of this cancer are pelvic pain and during sex, abnormal vaginal discharge, like water or blood, as well as bleeding between menstruation.
Scientists headed by Melissa Merritt have studied the taste passions of 456,000 women. Among them, they identified 2,800 beautiful women who were diagnosed with endometrial cancer. The researchers tracked the diet they followed. It turned out that drinking about 4 cups of coffee on a woman's day by 18% was less likely to encounter this type of tumor than those of their peers who drank less coffee.
In addition, scientists have found that 83 different types of food and drink in no way reduce the risk of endometrial cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, the risk of developing this disease is affected by an increase in the production of women in the body of hormones estrogen and progesterone.
Coffee is known to help women reduce hormones production. The drink contains a high level of antioxidants that prevent cell damage.
